Priscilla and Royce are a happy, easy going couple and of course their wedding day in Perth was planned in just that style. The only demand they put on us was to make sure we got photos of their babies, a puppy pomeranian cross and a pomeranian. Which of course we made sure was “in the bag” before we left Priscilla’s home. When we arrived, Priscilla was looking relaxed and ready to step in to her bridal gown (from Collezione). Her make up had been done by her bridesmaid Cassie and her hair by Tracy from Scarlet Studio. Her good friend’s mother who has a florist, “Flowers by Nahid”, created bouquets for Priscilla and her four bridesmaids.
In keeping with minimum fuss and a relaxed atmosphere for their wedding day, Priscilla and Royce decided to have their ceremony and reception in the one location at Bridgeleigh in Wanneroo. The 14th of October was the day of their wedding and the setting at Bridgeleigh was pure Spring. Anne from Bridgeleigh does an exceptional job caring for the grounds at Bridgeleigh and in Spring it is truly in full bloom! The guests were seated on the lawn in front of a gazebo to watch the picture perfect wedding ceremony. Priscilla was walked through an archway of greenery and down the isle by her dad and step dad and given hugs by both before being handed to Royce to exchange their wedding vows. After being hugged and kissed by family and friends wishing them well, the guests enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres in the gardens while Priscilla, Royce and the bridal party had photographs taken in the wonderful surroundings.
The bridal party were well catered for while the photographs were being taken. Michael from Bridgeleigh made sure they didn’t miss out and had champage and yummy nibbles brought to the photo location. A well fed bridal party with a drink in the hand always has a smile on the face, which is of course great for wedding photos! The bush surrounds made a great back drop for wedding photographs as did the fabulous gardens. Light was fading by the end of the photo session and it was time for Priscilla, Royce and their bridal party to join their guest in the reception room.
The reception room always looks fabulous with with Bridgeleigh’s own decor. The tables decorations were designed by Priscilla and the staff at Bridgeleigh. The night continued to be a fun and relaxed evening with friends and family, just how Priscilla and Royce had imagined their wedding day to be.
