Can’t Beat Quality Perth Wedding Photography

wedding photographers perthTahnee and Aaron chose to have the “getaway wedding” in Maritius and it was wonderful, – except the quality of the photographs. Tahnee got in contact with us after seeing our website and explained that she and Aaron had some photographs from their wedding in Maritius taken by the “photographer” supplied. The photographs on the beach and the sunset shots didn’t look anything like Peter’s displayed on our website and could he do anything to enhance the images. In addition they were planning another Perth wedding celebration for family and friends who weren’t able to make it to Maritius. Tahnee asked if we would be available to take photographs as she’d like some quality wedding photographs of herself and Aaron.

Peter worked his magic on a couple of wedding photographs for Tahnee and she couldn’t believe what a difference a professional photographer could make to an “average” print. Next up was the Perth wedding for family and friends.

We met Aaron and Tahnee at the Duxton and they brought along their bridesmaid and grooms men as well as a few friends, a group of 10 in all. We took the group through the streets of Perth and finished up with Tahnee’s request of sunset photographs. She was blessed with one of the best sunsets we’ve seen for some time!

We then followed them back to The Bells at Barrack Street Jetty where the party was just getting started!

Below the enhanced image. You will notice not only the colours but the texture in the clouds is brought out as is the detail in the dress.

Perth Wedding Photography With A Difference

wedding photographers perthWhen we met with Michelle and Maurizio a month prior to their Perth wedding, it was obvious they had put a lot of importance on making the day right on all levels. Michelle is a hair dresser so had the girl’s hair done at her salon, she and her family had spent time preparing the reception decorations and it was obvious family was very important to them. And of course there were keen to get fabulous wedding photographs. Hence we came up with a number of locations between Fremantle and Perth that gave Michelle and Maurizio fabulous variety for their wedding album.

It was an early start for Michelle and Maurizio on their wedding day. Michelle, owning her own hairdressing salon, George Street Hairdressing in George Street East Fremantle, had arranged for the bridesmaids to be at the salon for their hair to be done by the girls who work with her, Michelle and Rebecca as well as her cousin and bridesmaid Nicole. The make up artists from Living Dolls were also at the salon.

At 9.15am we arrived at Michelle’s aunt’s where Maurizio and the groomsmen were getting ready. The guys soon had Maurizio transformed from shorts and t-shirt to a groom in a three piece suit. Maurizio’s mum was on hand to put the finishing touches to her son.

We arrived at Michelle’s, the girls had their hair and make up finished and we were soon able to start on capturing some wonderful wedding portraits of Michelle and her five bridesmaids and little 14 month old flower girl, Sienna. Michelle presented the girls with gifts to accessorise their bridesmaids gowns. Clutch bags, earrings and bangles added the finishing touches.

Maurizio and the guys arrived at Christ the King Church in Beaconsfield about 20mins before the ceremony was due to start. The girls arrived in a 380c Chrysler stretch limo from Elaborate Limousines. Father Keating from the parish conducted the ceremony in his friendly and relaxed manner ensuring all were made welcome on the occasion of Michelle and Maurizio’s wedding. Soon after the bridal party had walked out of the church a few rain drops started to fall, which of  course is a sign of good luck! Everyone took to cover for a few minutes until we were able to photograph family in the church grounds.

After the ceremony our aim was to achieve selection of great wedding photos in a variety of locations for Michelle and Mauizio. We headed to the streets of Frematle, the ocean and East Perth and achieved wonderful wedding photographs of the two of them and their bridal party.

Their reception was held at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth. The room was set for 150 guests and was decorated by Wedding World who provided a chandelier and ceiling drapes. Michelle with help from her family created the table centre pieces and place settings in white with pearls. It looked spectacular! Michelle and Maurizio had chosen Brian Santich as their DJ for the evening and he sure knows how to get a party started and to keep it going! Much fun was had by all, – especially Michelle and Maurizio! Michelle and Maurizio had requested we stay for the entire evening to capture the speeches and the fun and games during the night, our last photogaphs were of Michelle and Mauizio saying good buy to their parents with hugs and kisses.

Perth City Wedding

wedding photographers perthWhen we arrived at Michelle’s Perth home on the afternoon of her wedding day, she was sitting on the lounge room floor looking relaxed and ready for the afternoon and evening ahead! Michelle and her bridesmaids looked fabulous with make up by Angela from Sparkling Belle and hair by Sam Paone. They were ready to get into their gowns pick up their bouquets and walk down the aisle. After capturing some beautiful wedding portraits of Michelle, the girls and Michelle’s parents we were off to meet Ryan and boys at the church.

Ryan and the groomsmen  had arrived at Saint Mary’s Church in Leederville in a 1932 irridescent blue Ford Tudor hot rod and Michelle and the bridesmaids arrived later in a 1932 Ford Tudor Stretch from AAA Executive Limousine. After the ceremony and photographs with family and friends outside the church, Michelle, Ryan and their bridal party headed into Perth for some wedding photos.

It was almost sunset by the time the wedding photos were finished and the bridal party joined guests at the City West Function Centre for the wedding reception. The room had been decorated in peacock and black and the bridal party made their entrance to Feel So Close by Calvin Harris.

A Chilled Perth Wedding

wedding photographers perthScott and Leanne kept their wedding simple, stylish and above all chilled! In the theme of simple Scott and Leanne chose to have one attendant each. And to keep it all in the family, – so to speak, Scott’s best-man’s wife Jo conducted the wedding ceremony. Scott and Leanne chose Matilda Bay Reserve for their wedding ceremony. They picked the perfect setting, seating guests under the shade of big trees looking out over the Swan River to Perth City in the distance.

After the ceremony the bridal party were driven in 1950 Jaguars from Belle Classic to Blue Water Grill for some wedding photographs and to later celebrate their reception. The photo session was relaxed with shots being taken around the grounds of Heathcote Park and Scott and Leanne greeting guest as they arrived for pre-dinner drinks. Some fabulous images were taken just on sunset with the magic golden tones that Perth sunsets radiate giving soft hues to Scott and Leanne.

While enjoying their pre-dinner drinks, Scott and Leanne’s guest were again treated to one of the best views in Perth. They mingled high on Heathcote Park over looking the South of Perth Yatch Club on the Swan River. Just after sunset Leanne and Scott joined their family and friends for a wonderful meal and celebrations through out the night.

Quality Perth Wedding Photography, – From The Cathedral To The Middle Swan

wedding photographers perthWhile planning their Perth wedding Lauren and Nathan enjoyed a little assistance and recommendations from Nathan’s sister Emily who works as a weddings functions co-ordinator and who has seen many weddings and wedding professionals pass her way. It was Emily’s recommendation that brought Lauren and Nathan to our door for their wedding photography.

When we met Lauren and Nathan, Lauren was definite that she wanted to be married in a beautiful church and where better than Saint George’s Cathedral, Perth. Lauren and her bridesmaids traveled in A Old Limo from her home in Aveley to Saint George’s Cathedral. Her two brothers walked her down the aisle. After family photographs in the Cathedral grounds we headed back to Middle Swan for their wedding photos and their reception at Sandalford Winery.

Lauren and Nathan expressed a desire for their wedding photos to capture the rustic surroundings of Sandalford Winery as well as the vineyards. Peter and I found just the spot to meet their criteria, a broken down homestead, walls with creepers, tall trees, paddocks and well as the vineyard! As you will see below the pictures tell the story!

Just after sunset Lauren, Nathan and their bridal party headed into their reception in the Underground Cellar at Sandalford Winery. Touched By Angels had done a wonderful job of decorating the room for a cocktail themed wedding reception. There were various couches, chairs occasional tables, beautiful vases of flowers and candle lit lanterns.

When we left lauren and Nathan were eating, drinking and enjoying the company of their friends and family.

Quality Perth Wedding Photography in the Middle Swan

wedding photographers perthSarah and Greg paid attention to timing, making sure they wouldn’t be rushed and would take the whole day to enjoy their wedding day celebrations, and it worked just beautifully! Sarah chose to get ready at her sister’s house in South Perth with each of her four sisters and her mum there ready to help. It was a great atmosphere with all of the sisters in absolute delight for Sarah on her special day. As with most of our brides, Sarah was organised and had her make up finished and her hair styled (by Sarah and Rebecca from Dale James Salon) when we knocked on the door to start her wedding photos.

We arrived at Whiteman Park to meet and photograph Greg and the guys. Sarah and Greg had chosen a quiet setting on grass with a back drop of the river and trees, quite secluded from the picnickers. Musicians and vocalists (a collection of their friends) were playing and during the ceremony Sarah’s sister also joined them to sing. After the wedding ceremony Sarah and Greg treated their guest to afternoon tea. A long picnic table under a gazebo was set up and decorated by friends. It was filled with wonderful food also supplied by friends. Sarah and Greg were able to mingle with their friends before moving off with their bridal party for wedding photographs around Whiteman Park.

The bush, river, wooden bridges and jetty made for fabulous, relaxed wedding photos. Their wedding reception was at the Upper Reach Winery in Middle Swan, so we headed there for some photographs in the vineyard just as the sun was setting.

The table decorations were simple and elegant with various size vases filled with various shades of pink flowers. Greg’s sister in-law put up her hand to make the wedding cake and did a fabulous job, no-one would have guessed it was her first!
