With Amanda’s bubbly personality there was never any doubt that Amanda and Leon’s wedding day was going to be loads of fun. The bridal party had no trouble supporting Amanda and Leon in their mission to have a fun filled day and we had no trouble shooting wonderful wedding photographs that captured the excitement and emotion of the wedding day.
We arrived at Leon’s family home about 8.30am. Leon’s Dad was opening a bottle of champagne setting the tone for a day of celebration! They guys were chilled, playing cards on the front verandah. We got some great photographs of Leon and the guys, although I wasn’t convinced that Leon’s mind was really on the game! We moved onto Amanda’s family home where there was a buzz of anticipation and excitement.
Like all of our clients Amanda and Leon had made an enormous effort in planning their wedding, so the day ran smoothly and was hassle free. Fabulous wedding photographs were a priority for Amanda and Leon. They spent some time talking with us about how much time was needed with a bridal party the size of theirs, to get the quality wedding photographs they wanted. Hence Amanda had the girls running to time at the home and we created wonderful bridal portraits of Amanda as well as capturing the fun and excitement of Amanda’s mum and the girls helping her get ready.
Amanda and Leon were married at Saint Bridgids Catholic Church in North Bridge by Father Oscar Aguilera. They had their wedding photographs taken around East Perth and Perth. Towards the end of the day we headed back to the Sheraton Hotel to get some cool shots in the Presidential Suite. Later that evening they celebrated their wedding with family and friends in the Sheraton Hotel Ballroom.
Colleen from Perceptions, who is always fun to have along on a wedding, joined us to capture the day on video. Amanda and Leon had Wedding World create the stylish and elegant setting in the ballroom, Helen from Special Occasions WA designed the floral arrangements and Sweet as Sugar created the cake.
Amanda and Leon’s amazing planning saw them having the wedding day of their dreams and incredible professional wedding photographs to keep the memory of their wedding day safe for an eternity.
