Tracey and Wayne certainly treated their New Zealand friends and relatives to an ideal Perth wedding on April 9. The unseasonably warm Autumn weather was enjoyed by the New Zealand visitors who had come from very chilly weather in the South Island. On the morning of the wedding Tracey and the girls moved out to a Subiaco apartment to prepare for the day, leaving Wayne his family and friends to relax in the resort atmosphere of their South Perth home, just a short stroll home at the end of the evening from the Boat Shed Restaurant reception venue.
Tracey was extremely particular in ensuring she employed professional wedding service providers who were going to deliver on the day. Quality wedding photography was particularly important to Tracey and Wayne. During our pre-wedding discussion they explained to us exactly what they were wanting to achieve from their wedding photography. They wanted to ensure every significant moment of the day was captured and to especially capture the candid moments with their family and friends. Michael from Inception Video was there to capture all the action, as always fun to work with and keeps the bridal party entertained while doing an amazing job. To help ensure the day ran smoothly Tracey enlisted the assistance of Jenn from The Original Wedding Company. Jenn and her team, including Emma from Pepperberry Weddings (floral designs) were at the church and setting up. The everyday community news in the foyer was hidden with lattice screens and flower arrangements. A red carpet lined on both sides with topiary trees was laid at the entrance to the church for Wayne and Tracey and their guests to enter the church by. All the guest were give helium filled balloons when leaving the church and these were released once everyone was outside.
Before moving on to the reception Tracey, Wayne and the bridal party dropped into West Perth and Kings Park for a great selection of wedding photographs. We finished the photo session on the Boat Shed Jetty at sunset. Once again Tracey’s attention to detail had the jetty posts decorated with the pew flowers. Tracey and Wayne and their family and friends enjoyed an evening on the river with Perth City as the back drop, and even a few fireworks thrown in!
